  • Housecalls

We provide in-home services for those who are unable to transport their pets to us. Arrangements are made by appointment.

  • Wellness/Preventive Care

Preventive care is the basis of our practice. With yearly examinations of your pets, we are better able to detect signs of disease in order for us to quickly begin treatment. These yearly exams are an opportune time to update vaccinations, perform routine testing, and answer any questions you may have about your pets.

Puppies and kittens should visit the vet at the time of weaning (6-8 weeks of age) to begin vaccinations and deworming. Recheck exams and boosters should be scheduled every 3-4 weeks.

Senior pets should visit us on a twice yearly basis. Because animals age at a more rapid rate than humans, major health issues may develop and progress quickly. Detecting these issues early can prolong the life of your pet.

  • Surgery

We highly recommend that all dogs and cats be spayed/neutered at or around 5 months of age. Along with the reduction in pet overpopulation, additional benefits include: reduced risk of mammary/prostate cancer, decreased roaming, and improved behavior. Our doctors also provide other surgical procedures as needed or indicated.

  • Pain Management
  • Therapy Laser

"Pain Removed. Life Improved."
This is a wonderful, new technology that decreases inflammation and speeds healing without the use of drugs or surgery. Beneficial for those senior patients with arthritic conditions or any pet suffering from conditions ranging from ear infections to massive trauma. Give us a call for more information.

  • Routine Dentals

Every pet should receive regular dental exams. We encourage owners to begin brushing their pets’ teeth at an early age and continue as part of their regular routine. This prevents plaque from building up on the surface of the teeth. With time, the plaque/tartar will harden and become difficult to remove without a professional cleaning.Gingivitis and periodontal disease with loss of teeth and bone can be prevented with routine check-ups.

  • Microchips - Help re-unite lost pets with their families. We use Home Again microchips.
  • Diagnostics

Our in-house lab allows us to quickly obtain results on pre-surgical bloodwork, senior wellness work-ups, emergencies, and any other situations requiring rapid turn-around time.We are also equipped to perform x-ray and ultrasound procedures.Fecal parasite microscopic exams should be routinely performed, not only for the pets’ health and well being, but to also prevent possible transmission to people.Under certain situations, we utilize other laboratories for specific testing purposes.
